The first quarter of 2022 saw impressive performance from the top 5 free-to-play games on Android in Spain. Data from Sensor Tower reveals significant trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for these popular titles.

Stumble Guys by Scopely showed notable growth. Weekly revenue started around $4.8K at the end of December and peaked at $14.3K by the end of March. Downloads fluctuated but ultimately surged, reaching approximately 77K in the last week of March. Active users consistently increased, from roughly 269K at the beginning of January to over 611K by the end of the quarter.

Hay Day from Supercell also performed well. Revenue saw a steady rise, starting at $15.6K and peaking at $25.9K by the end of February. Downloads experienced a high of approximately 86K in late January, eventually stabilizing around 18K by the end of March. Active users grew significantly, starting at about 250K and reaching over 533K by the end of March.

Rocket League Sideswipe by Psyonix Studios had a strong start with downloads peaking at approximately 103K in early January but saw a decline to around 6.1K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at roughly 243K and dropping to about 118K by the end of the quarter.

Airport Security by Kwalee Ltd saw a steady increase in downloads, peaking at about 80K in mid-February before settling at around 42K in late March. Revenue, although modest, showed a gradual increase, peaking at $48 in mid-March. Active users grew from approximately 33K in early February to around 66K by the end of March.

Count Masters: Stickman Games by Freeplay Inc displayed a consistent performance. Downloads started at approximately 31K at the end of December and saw a slight decline to around 27K by the end of March. Active users fluctuated but remained strong, starting at about 64K and ending the quarter at around 63K.
